10th Police World Sailing Championship 2008

This next Sailing Championship will be held in Heeg, the Netherlands from 13 until 21 September 2008. Heeg is situated in the beautiful province “Friesland”, where lakes, cows and green nature dominate the landscape.

The organization
The 10th Police World Sailing Championship 2008 will be organized by the Dutch Sailing Team: “Friesland Holland Police Sailing Team”. The sailing team was founded during the World Police & Fire Games in 1999 in Stockholm, Sweden. Ever since, the Dutch Police Sailing team has aimed to promote sailing worldwide.
